Bavarian Business Hub is proud to announce that we will be attending this conference, not only as a speaker, but also as a Bronze Sponsor! We look forward to a lively cross-cultural exchange of ideas and would like to bring a uniquely German perspective to the discussion table. Those in attendance can look forward to hearing our industry experts share exclusive insider knowledge.
Plitvice Lakes National Park
The oldest and largest national park in the Republic of Croatia is the venue of the conference this year. Located in the mountainous region of Croatia, between the Mala Kapela mountain range and the Lička Plješivica mountain range, participants are ready to visually feast.
Plitvice Lakes National Park consists of a 295 square kilometer forest reserve known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes. A limestone canyon stretches past the waterfalls and a multitude of hiking trails can be found in the park. Electric boats are also available in the upper and lower lakes. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, the park is home to spectacular views, the Veliki Slap being one of the most breathtaking. From this entry, viewers can see Sastavci Slap and Veliki Slap. The Korana River descends over 25 meters to create this beautiful waterfall.
About the conference
The conference will feature presentations and discussions with a particular focus on understanding current trends. Conference attendees will hear from thought leaders who will provide valuable insight into current trends and have the opportunity to share their thoughts and discuss important ideas. The aim of the conference is to use scientific, research, educational, commercial and entrepreneurial potential to contribute to sustainable development.
In light of the current global health situation, the organizers have planned for this event to include virtual elements. This hybrid conference will feature physical events that will contain virtual elements, making online participation possible. PhD research as well as entrepreneurial proposals for round tables are welcome. These documents will be published in the proceedings of the conference. The selected articles will be sent to the faculty’s journal for publication.
The conference is more than just discussions on heavy business topics! Last year, the conference was held online, under the patronage of the Croation Post, the Financial Agency and the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zagreb. Due to the nature of the online conference environment, the organizers decided to show a “living” side instead of the standard screenshot images. The photos from the conference depicted a paragliding adventure and beautiful countryside. Even though BEE 2020 was live, it had a huge impact on the attendees. Comments from participants included:
“Thank you for organizing this great conference with many interesting presentations flexibly in a virtual environment, which poses its own challenges,” commented Jani Kinnunen from Abo Akademi University.
Fillip Badovinac, a student, expressed his enthusiasm for the conference. “It was the first scientific conference I attended and the impressions are great! It gave me a glimpse into a world that is completely new to me, presenting new knowledge, exchanging experiences, criticism and praise.
Theuns Pelser from the University of Kwazulu-Natal was looking forward to the next conference. “Just a word of thanks for a well organized BEE conference and the opportunity to be part of it. I look forward to attending the next BEE2021 conference and meeting you in person.
The conference is scheduled to start May 25 and end on May 29.
