BDO welcomes 600 new members
BDO revealed that it has welcomed over 600 new members who have joined the firm as part of its graduate and apprenticeship programs since the start of the year.
The majority of BDO’s annual cohort of interns joined the company in September, with the company having already welcomed 80 interns earlier this year.
Over 450 of the new members were recruited into BDO’s audit team, demonstrating the firm’s “continued investment” in its audit practice.
Additionally, the company said it plans to hire 50 industrial internship students for 12 months between their second and third year of college. These internships will be available in several locations including London, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and the North West.
Paul Eagland, Managing Partner at BDO, said: “Welcoming our new cohort of interns to the firm is one of the highlights of the year.
“Despite some of the challenges of having to adapt to working as a fully remote workforce during the pandemic, it was fantastic to host our first targeted information programs earlier this year.”
He added: “We are continuing our long-standing commitments to improve social mobility, diversity and inclusion by investing in young people, who will become our advisers of tomorrow.
