CMHC President appointed UP Regent – Manila Bulletin
The President and CEO of Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CMHC) has been appointed a member of the Board of Regents (BOR) of the University of the Philippines (UP).
In his message at the nomination ceremony, Pagdanganan pledged to support the UP Board of Trustees in achieving its strategic vision of transforming the UP into a “leading regional and global university that supports 21st century learning, knowledge creation and public service for society and humanity. . “
The UP Council of Regents is the highest governing body of the UP system. BOR members come from the public and private sectors.
Pagdanganan graduated in Business Administration and Accounting from UP Diliman and was recognized by UP Cesar EA Virata School of Business as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2017.
He has held several leadership and board positions, including President and CEO of De Los Santos Medical Center, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Jesus Delgado Memorial Hospital, and Member of the Board of Trustees of Marikina Valley Medical Center.
Pagdanganan will serve for a period of two years.
