HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Taxation (Department) announces that it will hold its annual tax workshop virtually on November 5, 2021.

Topics for this year’s workshop include: an update on the 2021 legislative session and business rules, updates to the collections of the Ministry and Criminal Investigations Section, and a presentation invited by the Ministry of Labor and Industrial Relations.

“The Department is excited to virtually host its annual Taxation Workshop,” said Isaac W. Choy, Director of Taxation. “The Department is fortunate to host the workshop this year and invite the tax community to attend.

The workshop will take place from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm with registration starting at 8:00 am Fees are $ 45 for people who submit their registration and payment before October 29, 2021. Late registrations are $ 55 per person after the deadline. Fees include four (4) hours of Hawaii Public Accountancy Board’s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) workshop credit and materials.
