SHAH ALAM, 16th July – The Ministry of Entrepreneurs and Cooperative Development (MEDAC) will postpone the implementation of development projects as part of its cost reduction measures in accordance with Malaysian Treasury Circular – Cost Savings Guidelines public expenditure, published by the Ministry of Finance.
Its Minister Tan Sri Noh Omar, however, said that entrepreneur development programs would continue to be implemented as they were part of MEDAC’s main program to help the group recover from the current economic situation.
“MEDAC is one of the ministries that gets a small allocation because we don’t have a lot of development programs. We use existing agencies (under MEDAC) to help entrepreneurs.
“…the ministry will spend the allocated allowance to help them (entrepreneurs),” he said after presiding over the Malaysian Sports League (MSL) 2022 schedule at state level today .
He was commenting yesterday on a local media report that all ministries, departments, agencies, federal statutory bodies and companies limited by guarantee (CLBG) have been instructed to implement internal austerity measures by optimizing their spending so that ‘they can be used for well-being. to be of the people.
