Hersheypark The 2021 season is off to a smooth start.

The amusement park today announced two new dining experiences – Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor and The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen – will open on April 2, the start date of the park’s 115th season.

The stores, inspired by the vision of founder Milton S. Hershey, are part of the park’s new attraction, Chocolatetown, which opened last summer with the debut of the roller coaster, Candymonium. Entrance to the park is not required to visit the stores, which are located near Hersheypark Supply Co. outside the park ticket office gates.

The Creamery plays with Milton Hershey’s Malthouse and will whip up custom creations from over a dozen flavors of homemade 100% local dairy ice cream, including Candymonium, Reese’s Peanut Butter, Toasted Marshmallow, Graham Coaster Station and Malted Memories , according to a press release.

The Milton Ice Cream Parlor will feature custom craft creations from over a dozen flavors of local 100% dairy ice cream, including Candymonium, Reese’s Peanut Butter, Toasted Marshmallow, Graham Coaster Station and Malted Memories.

Other options include hot ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, ice cream floats or King Size sundaes served in a Hersheypark souvenir dish with five scoops of ice cream, confetti cake, unlimited toppings, fresh whipped cream and a cherry.

The shop will also serve homemade chips, buckets of fries and chicken bites in Hersheypark souvenir buckets served with a choice of dips like beer cheese, smoked barbecue, chocolate mole and garlic parmesan. . The menu extends to signature grilled cheese with Parmesan-crusted sourdough bread and chicken and waffles.

The Sweeterie, a scratch-off confectionery kitchen, will feature dozens of treats such as Comet coaster bars, Kissing Tower mousse cake and Chocolatetown cheesecake, from a curated collection of sweets including fudge.

In May, the boutiques will be joined by Le Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio on Memorial Day weekend. Billed as Hershey’s largest restaurant, The Chocolatier is decorated with old and new pieces from Hersheypark’s Ride Collection with views of the attractions and a second-floor patio with a bar.

As spring approaches, Hersheypark is hiring for a variety of positions throughout the park, including new food establishments.
