I managed to be first in my school despite my difficulties at home

I am Abijith UK and am from Palakkad, Kerala. I had always dreamed of achieving something great in life, and this wish made me study hard from childhood.
I was educated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu where I completed my primary education at Little Rose Nursery and Primary School and enrolled for higher secondary education at PAK Palanisamy Upper Secondary School.
As my father was crippled for five years, for a while I had to quit my studies after class 8. During this difficult period, my maternal uncle and my grandparents spent their hard-earned money for my studies.
In Class 10, I scored 94.8% and got 99% in Tamil and Social Studies subjects. Earlier, I had heard about the Vidyadhan scholarship from my science teacher, Mr. Saravanan. After the announcement of the results, he helped me apply for the scholarship.

Vidyadhan is a flagship graduate scholarship program of the Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiatives to support the education of deserving students from economically disadvantaged families.
Following a rigorous selection process that includes a test and interview, the foundation offers scholarships to students who have passed the Class 10/SSLC board exams.
The main motto of the Vidyadhan scholarship program is to make quality education accessible to economically poor students with a strong desire for higher education.
I was one of many children who received training from the foundation. Vidyadhan offered online training sessions on good English communication skills, personality development and leadership qualities.
The program also helped me score 594 out of 600 on my class 12 exams, where I scored 100% in four majors: business, accounting, business math, and economics.
Moreover, I have been recognized by DT Next newspaper as I achieved first place in my school and second place in North Chennai district.
Vidyadhan helped me financially and emotionally during my difficult times by providing scholarships and camps, and I am very grateful to them.
Now I am a UPSC aspirant and also want to be a chartered accountant.
