Isle of Man government sponsors new LoL X7 esports team

X7, a relatively new Isle of Man-based esports organization, has received support from its local government in the form of sponsorship.
Currently competing in League of Legends, X7 is making a name for itself in UKEL – the third level of competition for UK players in Riot Games’ MOBA behind LEC and UKLC & NLC.
Founded in December 2020 on the Isle of Man, their government has decided to help them continue their growth with financial support. In return, the government acquired a logo placed on the team’s jersey.
X7 recently made waves at the spring UKEL promotional event, qualifying for the main tournament alongside Resolve Academy and Munster Rugby.
Digital Isle of Man helps fund the continued growth of their local esports organization.
The organization has also partnered with Amber Gaming Company to help grow their brand through corporate and accounting services.
X7 hope to see significant growth with the support of their government and Amber Gaming, expand into new titles and increase their online presence as they represent their island.
