Kazakh head of state receives commissioner for the protection of entrepreneurs’ rights
NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – The head of state of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a meeting with the commissioner for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs Rustam Zhursunov, quoted Kazinform the press service of Akorda.
During the meeting, the President was briefed on the results of the work carried out during the current year as well as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on domestic businesses.
According to Zhursunov, this year the Office of the Business Ombudsman received 3,912 applications, 15% less than in the given period of last year. Of these, 1,463 were resolved in favor of entrepreneurs. The issues of greatest concern are supply, land, taxes and construction.
Tokayev also received information on the implementation of his tasks regarding the implementation of regulations with a clean slate. The corresponding bill setting the basic guidelines for a new regulatory policy is being studied in the Senate. An audit of all obsolete obligations for companies must be carried out before January 1, 2024. The measures aim at a complete digitization of relations between the State and companies.
The Kazakh head of state positively assessed the results of the business mediator and gave a number of instructions aimed at identifying the causes of the increase in administrative crimes against businesses and developing measures to eliminate them.
