Local entrepreneurs should be recognized for their hard work and resilience at the 2021 Love Chesterfield Awards – Destination Chesterfield

The entrepreneurial achievements of new independent traders and limited liability companies are celebrated in the all-new 2021 Love Chesterfield Awards, hosted by Destination Chesterfield in association with EntireFM – Complete Facilities Management.
Four companies – CarMats.co.uk, Precious Memories by Anne-Marie, Stanedge Golf Ltd and Virtual World Studios Ltd – were all shortlisted for the Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Sponsored by Banner Jones Solicitors, the new category recognizes the achievements, leadership, vision and success of new independent traders and limited liability companies in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire over the past 18 months.
In addition to the distinction, the award winner will also receive 10 hours of free mentoring with Banner Jones Solicitors as well as 12 month marketing support through Chesterfield Champions with award organizer Destination Chesterfield covering the cost of the contribution for an exercise. financial.
The winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year award will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Winding Wheel Theater on October 20, 2021.
Ash Young, founder of CarMats.co.uk, explained what it feels like to be a finalist: “It is a real honor to be selected for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Love Chesterfield Awards. The industry awards are great, but there is something special about the local recognition. Anne-Marie Scott, owner of Precious Memories by Anne-Marie said: “It’s very surreal to be nominated, mainly because I still have to pinch myself sometimes because I not only created a business from scratch, but also my dream job! During the most difficult year for most of the country, my business has always thrived and I was able to hire an intern to meet the demands of the growing business. Chesterfield is a wonderful market town, unique in that it encourages independent local businesses and encourages local entrepreneurs to help keep our beloved downtown area alive.

The new awards combined Chesterfield’s annual High Street and Food and Drink awards and also recognized the contribution of entrepreneurs, regeneration projects, apprentices and sustainability over the past 18 months.
