A DECADE of service by two staff members was celebrated by colleagues at accounting firm HWB.

Service charge manager Charlotte Kretzer joined HWB, Chandler’s Ford, as an apprentice in 2011, the same year Lyndon Howes joined the tax department.

Charlotte has since studied and obtained her AAT and ACA accounting qualifications and has been promoted accordingly.

She said: “HWB is a brilliant company to work for and they support you 100% throughout your studies. I highly recommend that you come as an apprentice as HWB allows you to study and gain a valuable work experience at the same time.

“I really enjoyed my first 10 years working for HWB. I love the people and the variety of work – and there’s always room for you to grow within the company.”

When Lyndon joined HWB, his time was split between the tax department and payroll. Ten years later, he is now a senior tax specialist and benefits from his diversified clientele.

“There are so many opportunities to improve your knowledge at HWB, especially when our clients are linked by more than one service line.

“I have great colleagues and have benefited from the guidance and support of long-serving staff members who are happy to share their expertise and nurture others,” he said.

General Manager Geoff Rhodes congratulated Lyndon and Charlotte on their career milestone.

He said: “Lydon and Charlotte are both valued members of the team and it has been rewarding to watch them both develop during their time at HWB.

“As one of the region’s leading accounting, business and tax advisory firms, we take our commitment to training and development seriously and it is great to see how Lyndon and Charlotte have flourished during their stay with us.”

HWB Chartered Accountants, headquartered in Chandler’s Ford, provide business and tax advice.
