PayCo Deal for Workr – The Global Recruiter

Workr Group, a leading international provider of employment, payroll and accounting services for temporary employees, has acquired the Entrepreneur Book from PayCo Services. PayCo Services, also an established and respected provider of employment, payroll and accounting services, was founded in 2005 and maintains an excellent reputation with its contractors and agency clients. Two staff members from existing PayCo services were transferred to support the existing Workr Group team in handling the increased volume of relationships between contractors and agencies.

Matt Tyson, CEO of Workr Group, said the move was a significant boost for three of the group’s areas of expertise; umbrella, independent and international. “We have known and admired the PayCo Services team for some time,” said Tyson. “This decision is aligned with our strategy to develop our existing service lines organically and through acquisition.

“Our initial goal was to provide a smooth transition and personalized service to entrepreneurs and demonstrate the added value and enhanced benefits they are now receiving,” he added. “At the same time, we discussed with our new partner agencies. Our additional range of services really resonated, as did our FCSA and APSCo accreditations and the increased security and compliance that this gives them ”

Workr Group was represented by Fieldfisher LLP and supported by Beever and Struthers for financial and tax due diligence. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
