Pete Leneghan Entrepreneurship Foundation’s inaugural run takes place this weekend
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The inaugural Pete Leneghan Entrepreneurship Foundation run is scheduled for Sunday, September 5.
Pete and his brother Tom founded The Treehouse in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland in 1996. Pete Leneghan, who also founded Stone Mad Pub in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood in 2008, died on May 29, 2020 of cancer. colon.
The race is at the Stone Mad Pub, 1306 West 65th St., Cleveland.
The 5km (timed) and 1 mile (non-timed) races take place on what would have been Pete’s 58th birthday. The cost is $ 35. Start of races at 9:30 am
Race day registration and package pickup takes place at 8:30 a.m. (Pickup today – Saturday, September 4 – is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Treehouse, 820 College Ave., Cleveland.)
Awards for the best graduates by age will be awarded.
Runners will receive a taco box from Barrio’s Food Truck, which includes a taco, crisps, salsa and guacamole. Additional boxes can be purchased from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Runners 21 and over also receive a beer after the race.

Additionally, proceeds from sales of paintings and photos sold in The Treehouse will go to the foundation, which aims to support a small business owner with impact in the community.
