Swindon firm leaves Old Town offices after 50 years
A successful Swindon-based accountancy firm, based in the Old Town for 50 years, is moving.
Monahans has been around for over 120 years and says its presence in Swindon is “core to its business”.
The business will now move to a larger site in Churchward following the expansion of its team.
Now at 80 staff, it is hoped the change will facilitate the company’s plans to grow by at least 10% over the next year.
Monahans managing partner Simon Tombs said: “Over the past 50 years we have built a very successful team in Swindon and developed a strong connection and commitment to the community.
“We are very happy that it continues to have obtained such a prestigious location in the house of Hermès.
“The new office will provide a top-notch work environment and support our team’s hybrid work models.
“Who’s to say we won’t be here, fueling the company’s future growth, for another 50 years?”
A spokesperson added: “Swindon is an extremely important region for us and we are pleased to say that our new office perfectly complements our ambition to serve the region.
“From here, we intend to continue to bring local accountancy services with a national reach to businesses in Swindon and surrounding areas.”
