There was entropy (disorder) once at the primordial source, when the energy flows were released. Immediately afterwards the harmonization of these energy streams began, which, following a course of gradual evolution, culminated in the manifested world with all its enormity and diversity. As cause permeates effect, the essence of both order and disorder must be present in every being. Which particular aspect becomes more evident depends on one’s mental orientation.

No wonder Buddha said: There is no possibility of having a perfect situation in this transitory life. Life is paradoxical – full of contradictions. We must reconcile the dualities of life. Life, in fact, is the expression of the harmony of contradictions.

Human beings are also empowered to face such contradictions. By invoking the inner buddhi (discriminating intelligence faculty) one could assess and take the right course, transgressing individual limitations. The irony, however, is that blindly following the calls of our mental tendencies, we seldom care to remain vigilant enough to invoke our buddhi for due diligence, and with obvious consequences. As a result, we are not able to use our empowerment tool optimally. And when we meet with failure, we blame our fate. Remember that the course of fate is not administered by outside forces. The choices we make bind us to a chain of cause and effect, which is the premise of our destiny. So, rather than trying to blame a supposedly non-existent reality, take charge of yourself. Make better use of your empowerment tools and choose the right lead.

Viewed in practical terms, it should be understood that no one is ever born perfect. Each being carries a mixture of potential and infirmities. The negatives play head-on, reflected in our usual daily behavior. The positives need to be consciously invoked, refined, and then put to use. Often times, negatives play a treat game with an innate potential to play to the fullest. It forces us to tackle our loopholes to do our best.

The worried parents of a 30-year-old came to ask, “Sir, he was very good at studying until he was 12 years old. He then decided not to enroll in the formal university course. He wishes to pursue his passion. He left alone but has not yet been able to earn a living. Will you please light up his future.

A look at the person’s astrological chart revealed that he had immense potential. For, all the beneficial planets – Sun, Jupiter, Mercury and Venus – were above the head when they were born. The spirit also signifying that the Moon is in exaltation in the lagna. Everything put together qualifies him to be successful in life and become a celebrity in his field of work. Mental infirmities, too, are no less, which prevent his potentials from fully coming into play. He has so far fought an inner battle, but unable to resolve it. Because, he does not look beyond his own beliefs and perceptions to verify reality. Nor is he open to listening or advice.

Let’s take a look at its good points first. The Sun and Jupiter are conjoined in the 10th house identified with its career potential. The two are well aligned on the psychic planet Neptune. This reading with Exalted Moon implies that he has a fertile mind, having a strong imagination, which is supported by intuition. He appears to be humanitarian, generous and idealistic. He is well-meaning, who subscribes to a system of values, which may not allow him to ever stoop for his individualistic gains. Mercury and Venus are conjunct, both again in the 10th house, well disposed to Neptune and the Sun. It indicates high intelligence, good communication skills, strong artistic abilities and would be charming.

To come to the negative points, 8 major planets as well as the lagna falling in fixed signs make him stubborn. The Moon is ill-disposed towards Mars, Mercury, Saturn and Uranus. This reflects a temperamental capricious, is moody, irritable and argumentative. He would generate conflicting thoughts and not be able to resolve quickly. He would be unconventional, erratic, reckless and suspicious of others. He has a one-way rigid mind, not open to looking past for a better option, if there is one. The result is here to see.

He needs to look within, identify and recognize his mental infirmities, and seek advice on how to resolve them. The positives inside will then come out with their best. In terms of time frame, it may not take long, after which he may not have to look back.
