Kolhapur (Maharashtra) [India], December 4 (ANI / Heylin Spark): The TEDx event hosted in Kolhapur by Gaurav Ghewade and Shubham Kharade on November 14, 2021 was based on the theme “Protopia”.
Protopia refers to a state of gradual improvement, a term coined by futurist Kevin Kelly.
Gaurav is an Integrated Marketer and Co-Founder at Entertainers (NPO), Kolhapur, India with multiple passions, while Shubham is a Drug Safety Analyst and Explorer keen to spread new ideas. They are the carriers of change in society with multiple projects and passionate interests that keep us hooked.
As Kolhapur attended this TEDx conference where artists from all walks of life shared their experiences, one more feather was added to its cap, a city famous for its mythical history, world-class food and leather chappals.

Speakers who graced the occasion were Akshay Shinde, Brand Designer, Social Activist and Adventurer, Arup Achary, Social Entrepreneur and You Tuber, Devan Bhalla, Integrated Marketing Specialist, Thought Leader and Speaker, Dr Abhinandan Patil, Holder world record, oncologist and social entrepreneur, Dr John Intru Disouza, academic leader and researcher, Dr Krishna N. Sharma, academician, researcher and author, Mehboobali Soppadla, Life Coah, catalyst, agile leader, Pratik Kakakde, Prime Minister’s researcher , evangelist and adventurer, and Heena Joshi Shrivastava, journalist, author, literary coach, Pranav, corporate speaker, motivational speaker, Kiara Kaur, 5 year old author.
With 2 international clients to start for her book mentoring through Writernaama – India’s premier online creative writing academy, Heena brings with her 10 years of creative writing experience, 4 books as a author and a passion for helping authors on their journey. It all looks easy and glamorous, but it all started with tiny stepping stones of faith amid the odds and judgmental labels of getting out of a small town. What kept her rooted was her strong integrity and her principles. His speech was titled “Give Yourself a Question Mark – The Power to Ask Questions”.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, Pranav has set benchmarks in thought leadership through in-company training and motivational speeches and has touched thousands of lives. He showed his mettle by hosting the world’s longest single-person online HR training series marathon ever – The first person to organize and lead the longest non-stop HR training for 30 hours and 1 minute at Zoom on December 26 and 27. 2020-World record. The title of his talk was “HR 2.0 – Never Say,” we’ll get back to you.
The speakers were fascinated by their ideas on social activism, marketing, public speaking, motivation, agile leadership, passion projects, thought leadership, social entrepreneurship, academic skills, integrated marketing ideas and life skills. It was a galaxy of the best brains in their respective fields who shared their ideas and experiences to make this event a success.
